Cimpa School on OPTIMAL CONTROL AND APPLICATIONS IN ENGINEERING

Optimal control is one of the core areas of research in diverse fields such as engineering, biology, economics, ecology, finance, management, and medicine.

The objective of this research school is to present a wide range of applications of the theory of finite-dimensional optimal control to engineering. First, a rigorous introduction to the theoretical basis of the theory will be provided. Then, several courses devoted to some applications of optimal control to motion planning problems, aerospace dynamics and energy consumption.
